Chances are I’m doing everything completely wrong with this process, and it may not seem like a lot, but it was so good to get the first cuts done on the NB 997 inspired custom Air Max 1’s last night.
For these first cuts I’m using suede from A&A Crack & Sons and the acrylic Air Max 1 pattern from Sneakercrafted. It has to be said that Patryk Margiello from Sneakercrafted has been, not only an inspiration, but an absolute gentleman in answering any queries I’ve had. I’ve purchased a few items from him at this stage and he could not have been any more helpful. Well worth a follow, a true master of his craft.
A little more progress on the NB 997 SOA inspired Nike Air Max 1’s. It was only after I posted this that I realised I cut out the wrong material for the decorative panel. It should be white nubuck to match the swoosh and eyestay surround.
I’m very open to partnerships, so if you are a supplier of shoemaking tools, materials, or products and would like to partner up to promote them through our various social channels, feel free to get in touch.
