I’m in my 2-year cycle of picking up a hobby that is totally unrelated to my day-to-day job, and I’m toying with the idea of making custom Nike Air Max 1’s.

Any recommendations on where to start? Materials, cut patterns, equipment, suppliers, etc.

I know my way around a domestic sewing machine but I’ve never done anything like this before. I’m blissfully unaware of how hard this is surely going to be and I’m ok with that, I’m up for the challenge!
